The Dolce Group
|
This week Safe Harbor is officially announcing our partnership with the uber high-profile Dolce Restaurant Group! Proprietors of 13 locations in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, including such renowned restaurants as the Geisha House, Bella Cucina and Ketchup, the Dolce Group offers the finest dining in ultra-posh settings with exceptional quality and world-class service. Upon commencement of the Safe Harbor program, V.P. of the Dolce Group David Jarrett stated, "Our restaurants are known as LA's hottest destination for the ultimate dining experience, including a reputation for quality service and food." |
"Worrying about mercury isn't part of that experience—Safe Harbor will help ensure our clientele enjoy themselves, knowing the fish they're eating has been tested." We couldn't have said it better ourselves!
The Fish Market Restaurant & Market
|
Just recently, Safe Harbor made an agreement with the prominent California restaurant and market chain aptly named The Fish Market to carry Safe Harbor Certified Seafood. The immediate rollout will include four Northern California Fish Market locations (San Jose, San Mateo, Palo Alto and Santa Clara) with the remaining Southern California locations expected to join the program in the following months. |
Be sure to look for the Safe Harbor logo on menus to be sure you're ordering Safe Harbor Certified Seafood for you and your family. We look forward to providing The Fish Market with the highest quality mercury-tested seafood products and we applaud The Fish Market as the first restaurant to officially embrace the Safe Harbor program!
Bay Area Markets
This last week we received confirmation that three local supermarket chains will be subscribing to the Safe Harbor program. In San Francisco and the greater bay area, Safe Harbor Certified Seafood will be available at the following locations:
Andronicos is a an independent grocery chain with eight locations across the greater bay area that has made a commitment to sustainability and quality, and is now enhancing their full-service seafood case with Safe Harbor Certified Seafood!
Delanos Markets is a community-focused, locally-owned retailer with eight full-service locations across the bay area. Now featuring Safe Harbor Certified Seafood!
The Santa family has owned and operated the community orientated Woodland Market for over 23 years and their longstanding commitment to quality and service is exemplified with their adoption of the Safe Harbor program!
Italian Sanitary Authority Accuracy Certification (I.S.A.)
 |
We recently received news that the ISA has certified the accuracy of our mercury analyzers. The process began last November and has finally come to fruition with a full accuracy certification of MASI/Safe Harbor analytical technology by the I.S.A, an Italian agency similar to the F.D.A. The ramifications of this certification will become fully apparent as the initial stages of an Italian rollout begin, via the well-known Italian company Pesca Pronta. This coming year should also see the initial stages of a full European rollout of Safe Harbor Certified Seafood via the French mega-retailer Carrefour. |
Carrefour's abundant retail locations and loyal customer base will ensure the availability of Safe Harbor Certified Seafood throughout Europe once this partnership matures.
